Why choose sew-on patch backing
Sew-on backing attaches the patch to the garment with stitching around its edge. It does not rely on heat, making it an option to discuss for fabrics that are delicate or unsuitable for iron-on application. The finished result depends on the garment, thread, patch edge and stitching; use a suitable needle and secure the full perimeter.

Embroidered patches give logos and lettering a raised thread texture, woven patches create a flatter surface for finer detail, and chenille adds a soft raised effect for bold varsity designs.
