Patch guide
Patch size guide for jackets and caps
Patch dimensions should fit the available garment area and keep the artwork readable. Use these recommendations as a starting point, then measure the actual jacket or cap before ordering.

Jacket chest and sleeve patches
Chest patches are often kept compact so they sit comfortably beside seams and zips. Sleeve patches should fit the flat area of the upper arm without wrapping around the sleeve. Measure the placement area and leave a little clearance around the patch.
Large jacket back designs
Back patches can use more of the available panel, but account for seams, lining and movement. A larger design may need simplified details or larger lettering to remain clear from a distance. Confirm the full width and height before approving the artwork.
Cap front panels
The front panel of a cap has limited space and a curved surface. Keep text and fine details readable at the final size, and consider a simpler emblem for a small patch. Use our interactive patch size guide for more placement examples.
